Whenever we picked up mythological fiction, we usually take things with pinch of salt. But when I had dived into this book I found details to be authentic.

I had read many books on retellings of Mahabharata, but I am glad that this book has much refreshment to offer. Thus, this comes with splash of unraveling facts which are not repetitive.

𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑬𝑴𝑷𝑹𝑬𝑺𝑺 𝑶𝑭 𝑰𝑵𝑫𝑹𝑨𝑷𝑹𝑨𝑺𝑻𝑯𝑨 is a book which is a retelling of Mahabharata from perspective of Draupadi. There were many details which I have not read in other books from different name of Draupadi and her Friendship with Krishna.

The book commences with the scenic view of Swayamvar of Draupadi and I loved the way description had been given by the author. It exactly formed the picturesque view in front of the readers.

Apart from the Draupadi, the reader will also read about the Karna marital life, Sahdev, Yudhishtir wife and the decision making skill of Draupadi.

Thus, this is the first attempt of the author to write the book and she had indeed cemented her place.

The narrative of the book is easy going and captivating. The language is something which is another highlight of the book.
